The National Military Service is an effective instrument at the disposal of the Nation, which integrated in the Armed Forces, contributes to security and defense of the Homeland, as well as to performance of civic and social tasks aimed at the development of the country, shaping, with its members, a trustworthy society engaged to reach the national objectives, all of them established as missions of Armed Forces and set forth in their respective Organic Laws. This Service also contributes to keep an effective human reserve for any possible mobilization of reserves to face any kind of domestic or foreign conflict; in line with the above, a mobilization would necessarily involve all appropriate inhabitants of our nation, in order to create an efficient military instrument, taking as a basis the profound vocation of solidarity of all Mexicans.
