International aid activities, helping affected people of sister nations, apply the same procedures as that for the DN-III-E Plan.

For Mexico, Humanitarian Aid has and international context, bilateral in nature, supporting the affected country under a scheme of coordination and cooperation with its authorities.

The arrangements made to request Humanitarian Aid from our country may have the following origins:

• When the President of Mexico offers Humanitarian Aid as a gesture of solidarity in face of disasters caused by a natural phenomenon.
  
  
• When the head of the affected country directly requests the support to the Executive Branch (president) of our country.
  
  
• When the request is made through the corresponding foreign ministries.
  
  

Up to now, the Mexican Army and Air Force have provided Humanitarian Aid to the following countries:
