During these events, there are low temperatures in the central and northern parts of the country, as a result of extreme weather conditions, poor people suffer health problems. It makes necessary the participation of military personnel supporting civil authorities evacuating people to temporal shelters specially established to protect them.

Likewise, military personnel carry out snow and ice removal from roads and roofs, road traffic control, they also distribute hot beverages to people stuck in traffic jams caused by snows.
